Justin Timberlake's career began in the early 1990s when he participated in the popular TV show "The Mickey Mouse Club." He later became one of the lead vocals of the boy band "NSYNC," which conquered the music charts in the late 1990s and early 2000s. However, after reaching the peak of fame with the group, Timberlake decided to start a solo career. His first album, "Justified," brought him worldwide fame thanks to the hits "Cry Me a River," "Like I Love You," and "Rock Your Body." This R&B and funk album established him as an independent artist. In 2006, Justin released the album "FutureSex/LoveSounds," which became even more successful thanks to the tracks "SexyBack," "My Love," and "What Goes Around... Comes Around." This collection demonstrated his talent for experimenting with electronics and R&B.

After a long hiatus, Timberlake released two albums in 2013 under the title The 20/20 Experience. Both releases received positive reviews, and the songs "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors" became hits. In 2018, his album Man of the Woods was released, where he experimented with a sound inspired by American folk music and country. Although reviews were mixed, it did not take long for commercial success. In addition to music, Justin is actively acting in films and is involved in business.

Justin Timberlake's new album - his first in six years - marked a return to the roots of his creativity. The album Everything I Thought It Was includes elements of R&B and pop music, characteristic of the artist's earlier works, such as Justified and FutureSex/LoveSounds. Many famous producers and songwriters took part in the creation of this musical work, including rapper Tobe Nwigwe, singer Fireboy DML and the group «NSYNC». Although Justin returned to his roots, he also added new elements to the sound of his songs.
